
H.H. Pope Shenouda III served as the 117th Patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, assuming this sacred role in 1971 after the repose of Pope Kyrillos VI. Under his guidance, the church experienced a significant revival, continuing the momentum initiated by his predecessor. Pope Shenouda III was not only a spiritual leader but also a prolific theologian and author. He penned over 100 books, many of which have been translated into various languages, enriching Christian literature and theology. His repose in the Lord occurred on March 9, 2012.
